Was braucht es, damit aus Haftzeit echte Zukunftszeit werden kann?
Anfang Februar traf sich das PERSPEKTIVE-Konsortium zum fünften Transnationalen Projekttreffen in Viterbo (Italien), um genau diese Frage weiterzudenken. Gastgeber war der italienische Projektpartner CPIA Giuseppe Foti, der Teilnehmende aus Griechenland, Island, Italien, Rumänien, der Türkei und Deutschland an der Università degli Studi della Tuscia begrüßte.
Im Fokus standen die Weiterentwicklung zentraler Projektergebnisse zur Bildungsarbeit im Justizvollzug sowie der Ausbau des europäischen Expert:innennetzwerks. Dabei wurde das stetige Wachstum der Initiative deutlich: Startete das Projekt 2024 in Düsseldorf mit rund 20 Teilnehmenden, kamen in Viterbo bereits über 40 Fachkräfte zusammen.
Ein wichtiger Meilenstein ist das PERSPEKTIVE-Handbuch zur Erlebnispädagogik im Strafvollzug. Mehr als 15 Übungen wurden bereits gemeinsam erprobt, über 50 praxisnahe Methoden für das Handbuch gesammelt – ein zentrales Projektergebnis nimmt damit zunehmend Gestalt an.
Auch in diesem Jahr engagieren wir uns weiter im Themenfeld: Aktuell sind wir an zwei neuen Projektanträgen mit Schwerpunkt Strafvollzug beteiligt – dem Folgeprojekt von S4P sowie einer Fortsetzung von PERSPEKTIVE. Drücken Sie uns die Daumen!

PERSPEKTIVE: Network grows – and new projects in the pipeline
What does it take to turn prison time into real future time?
At the beginning of February, the PERSPEKTIVE consortium met for its fifth transnational project meeting in Viterbo (Italy) to explore this very question. The host was Italian project partner CPIA Giuseppe Foti, who welcomed participants from Greece, Iceland, Italy, Romania, Turkey and Germany to the Università degli Studi della Tuscia.
The focus was on further developing key project results for educational work in the prison system and expanding the European network of experts. The steady growth of the initiative was evident: while the project started in Düsseldorf in 2024 with around 20 participants, more than 40 experts gathered in Viterbo.
An important milestone is the PERSPEKTIVE handbook on experiential education in the prison system. More than 15 exercises have already been tested together, and over 50 practical methods have been collected for the handbook – a key project result is thus increasingly taking shape.
We are continuing our involvement in this area this year: we are currently involved in two new project proposals focusing on the prison system – the follow-up project to Sport4PrisonsS4P and a continuation of PERSPEKTIVE. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
